We have directv and have the whole home genie. Main genie is in one room and a mini genie is in another. I wanted to split the satelite from the mini genie to a bedroom tv. We got the correct splitter and tried to split it but the other tv does not have a receiver is there anyway to still split the signal to the bedroom tv without a receiver? Do I need to use a certain type of cable? Tv comes on but gets no channels on it.

You asked this question days ago and got an answer, no. The receiver is there to decode the signal. Buy another box. You can't just split it, that box is there for a purpose.

Not being rude, but I remember this exact thread a few days ago and the answer isn't going to change.
