Question SSD upgrade question

Hey there! I own an Asus ROG strix g513 and I bought myself a new ssd (samsung 990 evo). Now, this might sound awkward, but how should I transfer all of my programs, documents etc on the new ssd? And what do I do with my windows, do I keep it on my old one? Thanks, and sorry, I'm new!

Cloning is a distinct possibility, given certain conditions.

Does the system currently work to your expectation?
What OS?
What is the capacity of both drives?
Make/model of the old drive?
How 'full' is your current C drive?

We will go into specific details later.
