I have recently acquired an old amd athlon 64 computer that I have installed Linux Mint on.
It's my first experience with Linux, and I chose a Ubuntu-based version to try and learn the ropes.
My main computer is running Win 7.
I have now successfully managed to connect to the linux computer with remote desktop (using TightVNC), something I'm happy with. I want to use the linux computer as a bit of an experiment, make some projects for myself and hopefully learn a thing or two
Anyway, there's something I've been thinking about. One thing I would like to use the linux computer for, is as a torrent server.
What I was thinking would be great, is if I could browse with my Win7 computer, and when clicking a torrent link, instead of choosing "open this file with <insert torrent program>" on the Win7 computer, it would start the torrent download on the linux computer.
Anyone know if there is any way to achieve this?
Thank you.
