Static noise coming out from the laptop. Not sure if it is software/hardware problem.

Hi Sir,

I have purchased a MSI gaming laptop, PE60 6QE. I have been using it for 2 weeks now. There is an electric/static noise coming out from the laptop. The noise is louder when the power cabal is not plugged in or when I am playing a game on full screen. I tried to muted all volume in the volume mixer, but the noise is still there. I would like to seek advise from you. Thank you so much for the help!

Sounds like electrical noise. Remove the battery and run only on wall power, does the noise happen then?

My laptop has a built-in battery. If I need to take the battery out, it will need to void the warranty (since I will need to remove the warranty sticker to open the case)

If it's in warranty, contact MSI and see what they say.
