Steps to install windows xp in HP 430 Notebook PC

I have purchased new laptop, HP 430 Notebook PC. I am not able to install Windows XP in it. it is showing me blue screen error. I have changed my BIOS setup, Boot device priority to CD/DVD drive.
but still i am getting the error.
Kindly guide me step by step, if i need to do any BIOS setup change.
PS. I am not able to find SATA Hard disk in my laptop BIOS setting, please guide me step by step

Since you get the blue screen, it means that Windows "sees" the HDD. You'll have to use nLite for slipstreaming the SATA driver and the SP2 or SP3. Google for nLite and download it. You can find instructions for how to use it on their site. The SATA driver should be on the laptop's CD or on their site. SP2, on Microsoft.

Thank you for your reply. But presently my laptop has only DOS installed in it. It does not have any other operating system so that I can install nLite.
when trying to install XP SP2 from boot CD, after performing some checks, it is redirecting me to a blue screen.

Please let me know if i need to do any BIOS setup change

You'll have to install nLite on a different/working PC and slipstream the SATA driver. Then you'll burn a CD with the new XP and install Windows from it on the notebook.
