I understand it. More or less. You can use your browser for porn. You can download porn and put it on your iphone if you want. Nothing is stopping you from that sneaky hand shandy.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find a company thats major dealings is with the general public, and has porn applications from it's own approved store. Especially, when there is nothing stopping someone who wants to have porn on their hardware anyway.

Let us be fair; Jobs is just being a bit juvenile in his defense of Apples decision and, unjustifiably labeling another product as a porn etailer. That's where my problem is. A company official being a douche.

Don´t let him make this a debate of porn. The thing is that Mr Jobs is limiting lots of stuff. Like he is now demanding that 3rd party designers should only use Apples API (Application Program Interface) This will make it harder (impossible?)for designers to design Apps to be used on iPhone/iTouch/iPAD but also be easily adapted for Android and other environments,

This is the method which lousy politicians use to make you discuss an area where they think they will have more support. If you ask regarding taxes will they answer that they created a few police officer positions and continue discussing safety on the streets. Don´t let Mr Jobs do this!

Speaking of Google, they just launched a web page to let users know how much various governments are asking (obtaining) information on users and such. The USA is almost at the top. That did not surprise me, especially with the Socialist regime we have in charge right now who wanted to read anyone's e-mail without a subpoena.
