Student deciding between 3 different laptops, help appreciated.

Hey, I'm looking to buy a small light weight laptop for general usage as a student (web browsing, word processing, video playback, etc.) and have come across the following laptops:

Go for the samsung or the acer aspire v5, since the first one is a single core and the others are dual core. If you like to play some games (light gaming), go for the samsung, and it's more portable. Want some more cpu performance, just go with the acer v5.
