Synaptics Touchpad won't enabled when mouse disconnected

I tick the check box "Disable internal pointing device when external USB pointing device is attached". It does disable the touch-pad when I connect the mouse to the laptop. However, the touch-pad is not enable by its own when I disconnect the mouse. I already updated the driver but nothing changes. Any idea on how to solve this?


HP Pavilion Gaming 2016.
Mouse: Logitech G102 Prodigy (Driver Installed)
Synaptics Pointing Device - v19.3.31.31

If you're using the driver from HP's site, try using the Windows native driver (through Device Manager) - or vice versa if using the Windows native one.
