System Recovery Fail on Windows

Recovery stops and a small window pops-up.Top of window Reducer. Inside window.C:\Rm\
Image\Temp Base Win was not found.Tried recovery disc from another laptop worked fine.

May we know the model of your laptop? Was the recovery you used really for your laptop or from the manufacturer? I would suggest ordering a new set of recovery disc for your laptop that should work properly with it.

Yes the recovery discs were from HP. The model #dv7-3162nr. I called support not impressed. Is there someone at HP to talk to?
