Tab4- switch to SD card from device memory ? Help!

Just a girl needing a little extra help!! I recently bought the Samsung tab 4 7.0 now it says my device memory is full... So I added an SD card.. How do I start saving things to this SD card. Or move stuff saved on the device over to the SD card. Whichever is easier .. Please help me!!
