tablet is losing videos

My Samsung Galaxy 10.1 seems to be losing videos. I have made several recordings recently and seen them in the Gallery and on the camera thumbnails. However, when I get ready to transfer them to my computer, they are no longer there, nor did they show in the camera thumbnails. I have searched every way I know how, but I cannot find the lost videos. Can anyone help?

I've seen that happen, it's seems to be because of the default location for photos and videos does not like to stay together so videos can end up in a different directory. Go directly to the device storage from My Computer icon, and look there for DCIM folder, there may be a few. Inside one of them you should find your video files.

Thanks. I did check that out but couldn't find them. However, it looks like my SD card may have gone bad. I've put a new one in and it appears to be working now, although I'll know more after today.

It's working fine with the new SD card.
