there's a black dot in my samsung galaxy s3 camera

It shows up when i take pictures. The glass over the camera bit has smashed so do I need to just replace the glass/plastic and it'll go away or will i need to replace the full camera? anything to help please? i have insurance so will that cover it? please please help

if it is digital when the lens broke some dust or debris may have landed on the sensor. take the broken lens of and gently clean the sensor with an air can then see it it goes away before ordering a lens
