THINKPAD T23 NO AUDIO

Hello,
After WIN XP Professional update small speaker icon vanished and no sound at all.Install latest driver, tried to remove and add hardware through my comp manage no help.
When system boot I can hear "plop" sound from speakers and thats all.
Any one have idea whats going on?

That is odd. To ensure that the sound card didn't go out, try and do a system restore to an earlier date and see if the speakers work again. If they do, it is something with the update.

It wont restore to the previous, because previous was without "sp3"...
...don't have idea at all why...
