Tivo not working after update

I have a Tivo Series 2 60 hour unit.

So last night I was watching an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live when my Tivo
just froze all of a sudden, no response to the remote or anything. I
unplugged and replugged the Tivo, and in about 15 minutes it started working
again. As I was going through the various menus it locked up again. This
time it won't get past the "Welcome. Powering Up" screen, and none of the
status lights on the front of the box are on.

I leave it unplugged for a few minutes, then plug it back in, all of the
lights change to amber, then after a minute or so the top half of the left
light is green, the bottom half of it is amber, while the top of the right
light is red, the bottom of it is amber. But it never gets past the welcome
screen.

Is my Tivo dead? Is there anything I can do to fix it? It's at least 2 years
old
