To Purchase or to Wait

Hey,

I'm a developer/gamer and I use my laptop heavily. My current specs are:
i7-2820QM
16gb ram
120gb ssd / 500gb hdd
nvidia 540m

The gpu is starting to show its age and I want to buy a new laptop to play watch dogs and gta5 (if it ever comes out on pc..lol)
I am hesitant to spend +$2000 on a new laptop with Intel broadwell and Nvidia maxwell right around the corner.

What do you think? Is my rig due for a replacement, or should I hold out until Broadwell+Maxwell?

I would get a new one now, even if those come out next week, they won't slow down current components. They will be way more expensive for the performance you get, because you'll be paying not only for the hardware, but also the Broadwell and Maxwell names.
