This guy (m-fuji) at OverClocker has an avg of 1 hr 01 min 09.9 sec. This is total BS! How the hell can you have a 1 hour wu total BS. Looks like someone knows how to hack seti.

I noticed that guy last week myself. There was a hack that some people were using <A HREF="http/forumz.tomshardware.com/software/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=2551#2551" target="_new">http/forumz.tomshardware.com/software/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=2551#2551</A>. Those people to my knowledge have lost those hacked units.

Yo, check out his site, you can see through the Japanese that all the guys on the team are using regular consumer-grade systems like P3's and Athlons. No sort of super-computers here

Ya why can't these one hour guys show how they do it? I mean I if could do one hour times, I would love to show off how I did it. I have not seen any websight that has shown how to get a one hour avg. for seti. If anyone has a link then please post, I would love to see it.

From what I can make out on their discussion forum, they have a lot of problems of rejected 'tokens'.

They also appear to be using a lot of really monster modified Xeon combos.

My guess is that they have optimised seti code running on purpose build hardware in many cases.

I _doubt_ that the seti is being deliberately cheated, but the science may be falling to ambition...
