It is actually cheaper than the business class/workstation class notebooks with similar specs.

It would be nice to be able to use de 9400M GPU to run PhysX if it's fast enough, but I guess it's not powerful enough anyway.

Is it just me or does that battery seem really weak for that hardware in this day and age? I Get 8 hours on my Eee 901 20G when I clock down the cpu, fan, and screen brightness. Would be pretty hard to go back to that 1.5 hour crap.

[citation][nom]LAN_deRf_HA[/nom]Is it just me or does that battery seem really weak for that hardware in this day and age?[/citation]I agree. For what the intended market is they should just leave out the battery and put in a second hard drive for RAID or add more cooling. It's more of a portable desktop than a notebook.

My NP5793 runs 2 hours on a battery, and I've only drained it a few times.

But..why Toshiba? Why ruin good technology with a gauhty case that screams "steal me!"

$4200 and no WUXGA display. No Blu-ray drive. No thanks! Great speakers though. Refresh coming out in April 09.

Agree with the looks comment although I would go with childish as a comment. Umm if you can spend 4200 on a 9lb laptop you can spend another 200 on a second battery if you need it.

The battery can't and will not power triple SLI,whether you say it can or not...Hell,even dual SLI laptops barely increase numbers, and then add another...all you're doing is making a power/heat warp on your lap.
