toshiba lap top shuts down without warning on certain f book games

my toshiba lap top has all of a sudden started to shut down after 3 mins when i play 2 certain games on face book , ive been playing these games without any problems for over a year on the lap top in question. the lap top was bought brand new last year . its only started happening this past week . all other games on face book dont affect it , does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know how to amend this annoying issue. thanks in advance .

My first thought is thermal shutdown. Cooling vents get clogged with dust, which reduces cooling, overheats the system , which shuts down to protect itself.

This would occur mostly under load, which it sounds to me like what your describing.
