Toshiba satellite 2450 boot disc

i have a toshiba satellite 2450 and it is not booting.. so I try to reformat the harddrive.. when i am formatting the harddrive the windows set up says that there is a problem with the harddisk.. i found a partition in the disk so i deleted the 2 partition and make only one partition.. but when the windows setup is trying to reformat the space.. it returns a message that windows cant reformat the harddisk.. please help me here... please. what can i do

There's obviously something wrong with your hard disk. Have you considered buying a replacement? If the laptop is still covered by warranty, the nearest Toshiba repair center should furnish the replacement.
