Hey guys,

So my laptop asked to do an update and while doing so I was online and my internet froze to a point of no return.
I completely forgot about the update and decided to turn off my laptop.
The next day I turned it on and found a message saying that "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause."

The problem is that I don't have the installation disk anymore. I've had this computer since 2010.
Any idea what I can possibly do to fix it? And I have Windows 7.

I forgot to mention that its windows 7 not 8.

Propably you have a problem with Hard Drive. Please check this. You should use MHDD tool and please paste finish results scan your HDD.
