Recovery disk compatibility
Can recovery disks from one Satellite C55-B5353 be used to restore another C55-B5353? I bought two C55-5353 laptops. One of them is not detecting the internal hard drive which, if bad, will probably have to be replaced.
I can't find the recovery disks made from that unit, but I do have the recovery disks made from the other one of them.
Can the recovery disks that I do have be used to restore the new replacement hard drive or are they "serial number" dependent?
