Toshiba satellite space bar problem

Hello, when I am typing normally the space bar does not respond unless I press harder than I do when pressing the other keys. I will look back at what I've typedandfind (like this) that many of the words are missing the spaces. The keyboard is not dirty, this is a fairly new computer. I'd like to know if this is a known problem with their keyboards, or if I get a different one, will I have the same problem? Thanks

Try changing the keyboard. Or remove the keyboard and see if the spring went loose (if there is one). Usually in case of a defective key, you could just change the one key from the service center for free if its available.
