Finally, a tablet where the increase in price from 16GB to 32GB is somewhat reasonable.
I wonder if this retains the rubberized, ribbed, removable back cover which allows user access to the internal batteries.

Does anyone even care about a 7 inch tablet for $379? I'd want something a bit bigger for that price, or something less expensive for that size.

So basically its a playbook with android and a higher res screen, oh and it costs double

Playbook price was 499 for 16GB until they did their fire sale. What are you on?

Current market value?

It wasn't a fire-sale because
-its still available
-the sale was only for 2 weeks

I got mine for 189 which is exactly half of $379,

So if you want to pay double for something just because of the slightly higher resolution and android then go ahead

I was excited about this reading the article until I saw all of your cost comments... now I'm hoping this comes down. I was going to get the Transformer prime, but in reality I would prefer a 7" over a 10+". Something easier to carry around. But really, a refurbished first gen transformer can be purchased at newegg for around $350, which is the same specs but larger. So really, this should be cheaper.
