Toshiiba satellite laptop

toshiba satellite C55D-B5206 freezes on boot up at the "toshiiba leading innovations" screen. The laptop is less than a year old. Running windows 8 and AMD A8. Please help asap

Hit there,
Try to charge (or change) the battery first. Probably the power supply does not give enough power when battery is broken (--> probably from not being used for long time).
