Touch laptop with cracked glass, it possible to remove just the glass?

I don't know about this but i heard touch laptops have a protective glass or something like that, i don't care about the touchscreen but the cracked glass in "spider web" form is annoying especially in white bg, can i just remove this extra glass and stay with a non-touch screen laptop?

Yes you can, but you should replace the glass rather than leave it exposed. I'd recommend taking it to a professional as amateur removal runs a high risk of damaging the display itself.

What do you mean by "leave it exposed", is that really a problem? Also by removing this extra glass the bezel would fit good?

I know the best solution is buy the full display (lcd + digitalizer) but i live in Argentina and here buying from other countries is a pain in the ass so i would like to repair it however i can right now any suggestions are welcome

Then you really want to talk to somebody local. Each locale may/may not have shops to deal with this and whether it's prohibitively expensive or not.

If you are lucky, what you look for exists in ifixit.com or similar site and you can order that online and comes with instruction to DIY'it.

The glass is in front of everything, it's a big deal to remove it?

--- Remove the cracked glass (digitalizer) + bezel from the laptop

The glass is often attached with a form of adhesive to the display, meaning you'd have to pry it off, and making just one wrong move while doing that can completely destroy the digitizer. The exposed digitizer is very easy to damage as well. This is why I HEAVILY recommend that you take it to a professional because the people that do phone glass replacements and such have machines to properly remove the glass and attach the new one. A glass replacement is NOT expensive.

It's very probably i take it to a professional, but my doubt is with the extra glass missing the pieces fit good anyway or something is left exposed? probably it's not meant to fit without the glass
