Hi my trackpad on my lenovo ideapad 100s is jerking around and sometimes only responding to horizontal movements, so the mouse is stuck on one axis. please help i've done nothing to do this.

Hi,

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Start by connecting an external USB mouse onto your laptop and see if it will work.
- If the external mouse will work, proceed with uninstalling/reinstalling the Touchpad driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Touchpad driver.
- Once uninstalled, download and install the latest driver from Lenovo.
- Here's the link: http://support.lenovo.com/ph/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/100-series/100-15iby?beta=false
- Reboot your laptop once the driver has been installed then test it again after the reboot.

Hopefully this will help. :)
