Trouble connecting PC to Surround Sound Receiver

Setup:
jvc rx-6032v Receiver connected to a VGEBY USB Audio Adapter External Sound Card With SPDIF Digital Audio via a SPDIF cable. Plugged into my PC which has a MSI - Z97 PC MATE ATX LGA1150 Motherboard and is running Windows 10 with Realtek HD audio manager installed.
I have virtually no clue how to set this up, the JVC customer service Reps had no Clue either.
Any and all ideas are welcome.

Receiver has:
Optical Digital Inputs - 1
Coaxial Digital Inputs - 1

With the USB cable connected, you will see USB Audio Device in Windows.

Connect the Mini-Toslink (SPDIF, Optical) cable between the Receiver and the External Sound Adapter

I have already done this, the USB device does appear and I am able to enable it, but no sound is coming out of the speakers/receiver. Speakers are working, i am able to play the radio through the receiver and speakers.

Did you use the input digital button to select the input you connected the digital cable to on the receiver?

The digital input is enabled, still no sound.
