Trouble hooking pc speakers to lcd tv

I am trying to hook a pair of Cyber Acoustic 3080 speakers to my Vizio 24" smart tv by using the headphone jack on the back of the tv but I am not getting any sound. Regular headphones work in the jack. I have also turned the internal speakers on and off to see if it helps but so far nothing is working. I don't have any other audio output except one analog spot. Please help.

You have two inputs on the speakers.. If you have connected to the Aux input jack on the control pod you will need to select that input. You may have to adjust the volume on the TV so you get the right amount of input to the speaker.
