Hello;
I recently posted a thread on the forum asking if my laptop's CPU temps are normal while gaming as they were reaching very high temps, sometimes 99°C.
And because of my concern about my CPU's health, especially considering the country is having a heatwave now, I stopped gaming and doing heavy work on it for the last couple of days.
However this night, I tried disabling intel's turbo boost technology, to see if it would make the notebook have better temps, and I was surprised.
The CPU's temps decreased by more than 10°C, before, typically it would reach even 100°C max temp while playing CPU intensive games, after disabling Turbo boost, the maximum temperature was only 81°C.
I just wanted to share this with you guys. And I wanted to ask if when winter comes and weather gets colder, could I re-enable it?
Thanks!
