Turtle beach z22 not working on new pc, driver issue

I just got a new pc ( windows 7 64 bit ) and i have tried to use my turtle beach z22's which worked perfectly on my old pc. Unfortunately , as you can expect with a new pc , there is always one problem atleast.

When i plug them into the correct ports , this is what comes up

so i select headphone, and the headphones work, as planned, however the microphone doesn't, selecting the microphone option means neither headphone or microphone works.
When i go on my devices , it sees the device however it has a problem , and when i trouble shoot , it says it needs to re install the driver, which there isnt any.

and when i go onto manage audio devices, the head set isnt recognised or found

Intel Core i5 4690K Processor overclocked to up to 4.3GHz
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler
Gigabyte Z87-HD3 Motherboard
nvidia gtx 750 ti 2gb
8GB PC3-12800 DDR3 Memory
1000GB SATA SSHD 7200rpm Hybrid Drive
600watt FSP PSU
Onboard High Definition Audio
Windows 7 64 bit

Prob was it needed a powered USB hub for it to work. Sounds like the port didnt have enough power for the headset.

Once this was added, the drivers installed and the headset worked

it is that , but i can't do what it says , as it doesnt show up in sound

What does it say in device manager? That it needs a driver or something else?

Sometimes things like this refuse to work unless its plugged into a powered USB hub.

Do you have a powered USB hub to see if this is the prob?

A guy in here had a similar prob with some kind of headset.

It wouldnt install the drivers (even tho he had drivers)

It wasnt until he connected the headset to a powered USB hub that the drivers installed

Have the same problem.

I have the Z22 for a half year now and i directly mailed the support.

The problem is our motherboard.
They told me the Z87 is not supported (at that time) and in a couple of monthes there should be a fix.
But guess what.. THERE AIN'T

So what i do now is hook it up to my laptop (wich has an AMD motherboard) and use voice via my laptop and for sound i use the second sound input (for your smartphone) the use it on my pc...

I'ts a real shame, but i think there is no fix incoming..

EDIT: but i will check out the hub idea :)
