TV audio problems with hdmi

My lg tv takes a long time to get audio when using hdmi cable.It worked for years before with a ps3 and other devices after 3 years of having no problems using this tv for 1080i i suddenly started to get audio problems and now it takes hours to get audio.Works like a charm when using av cable picture comes perfectly.i have no problems what so ever on other displays like my acer monitor and rog swift gaming display. note: i only tried my laptop, pc, cable setbox and, ps3 all have audio problems on tv only when using hdmi.No picture problems at all on hdmi and other cables.
