TV shutting off in 1 minute.

I think I may have accidently put a timer or sleeper on my tv. How may I quickly reset it before it go off again?

Do you have the TV's User Guide/Manual?

If not, see if you can download the document from the manufacturer's website. You will probably need the model number of the TV.

Is there a remote with a menu button. If you are actively moving around in the menu screens I would hope that the shutoff would be "postponed" until you find the timer/sleeper setting if there is one.

And there may also be a way to restore the TV to its factory settings. E.g., hold some button in on the set while unplugging and replugging in the TV.

You might also be able to find that process online by googling something such as TV Make, Model, and include "factory reset".
