Solved! Ultra thin optical cable

The connection cable that came with our LG soundbar has packed in and I can’t find another like it anywhere. It was really really thin, almost wire-like, with micro-connectors. Should I give up and consign the soundbar to the realms of history?

I understand it's an LG soundbar but what is the model of the unit? You could just deal with a coaxial cable if the connector on it accepts a SPDIF coax input or is it a TOSLINK cable?

Typically, a soundbar will use Toslink....

Unlikely to be a proprietary solution, given it would have to be compatible with a vast array of TVs....

Get a new toslink cable.

U make it sound like this is proprietary, I assure you is not.

HERE. That's all I use. Is 2.25mm thick.


I also use THIN HDMI, THIN TV COAX, AND THIN CAT6A, best since sliced bread.

Thanks, I wish I could add a screenshot of the connector; the model number appears to be a Model No NB2430A

You *should* use Toslink/Optical for a TV.
