Hi there. I have a Toshiba satellite e45w-c2000x which can be used as a laptop and folds into a tablet. I thought it would possible to use the keyboard when it is in tablet mode alongside my monitor. However when I attempted to do this the keyboard was disabled in tablet mode. Now is there a way for me to re-enable the keyboard in tablet mode?

Also, I looked online but found nothing concerning this. Has anyone ran into this problem? If you found or know a solution what did you do?

P.S. I have no intention of buying an external keyboard.

Looks like I found the solution to my problem. After doing some research I found that there is a service called TOSTABSYSSVC.exe that detects whether the laptop is in regular or tablet mode. By disabling this service in laptop mode could it then go into tablet mode and allow me to use the keyboard.

Instructions to use Toshiba keyboard in tablet mode.
----------------------------------------------------------------
1. Make sure your in laptop is in it's regular position.
2. Stop TOSTABSYSSVC.exe in task manager and wait for it to finish.
3. Fold laptop into tablet mode.
4. Enjoy a sexy keyboard.
*Create batch files to quickly disable and re-enable this task.*
