I've tried several times in the past few days to install Unigine Heaven benchmark on a new Win7 install and keep getting a "Missing MSVCP100.dll" error. I've uninstalled and re-installed, checked my MSFT Windows repair file for this and still no luck. I've used this in the past on other Win7 installs without problems.

Still getting the error. I removed all old downloads, despooged my HDD, downloaded again from techpowerup US server. This is on a fresh WIN7 install with everything clean. I've d/l'ed Unigine many times on other rigs but never had a problem like this.

thinking back it seemed like my buddies son could not get it to run on his windows 7 pro ????

I assume you windows is activated and fully updated from Microsoft update ?? there maybe a update for the c++ ??

what about a older heaven like 2.0 first to see how it works out ??

http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/1681/unigine-heaven-dx11-benchmark/

and then can I ask what and where did you get the copy of windows ? retail disk like you buy from newegg ??

let me ask one more thing-- open your hard drive to its files go to windows open it and then to system 32 open it and scroll down the list to see if its listed there at all if so then do the same for the wow64 it should be in both

I guess you seen you may have to install the 32 and also 64 bit of Microsoft Visual C++ ???

I don't know it sure seems like windows update would see your version is old and give you a service pack for that ?? like I got from them here

Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Update 4 Redistributable Package (KB3032622)

Installation date: ‎2/‎11/‎2015 2:42 PM

Installation status: Successful

Update type: Important

If you use Visual Studio 2012 RTM product to build C++ apps and use certain functionality from the C++ Standard Template Library in your projects, then you might run into a runtime failure similar to the following:

"The procedure entry point_ crtCreateSymbolicLinkW could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCR110.dll"

This was caused due to certain missing function exports in the runtime DLL msvcr110.dll that shipped with VS2012 RTM. This problem was eventually fixed in Visual Studio 2012 Update 4. This article ensures that the correct runtime DLLs are provided to all users who had previously installed the faulty DLLs from Visual Studio 2012

I considered that and d/l'ed CIV V, since it's a fairly small set of files, thinking it might add the files but it didn't. I do have another computer w/ Shogun2, Atilla and other games which likely use the c++ files but didn't want to d/l them on this HDD. I can play them from my other rig using the Steam Friends sharing and local network on this computer without the download.
I'm pretty impressed at how good a Intel i3-4150 can run compared to my i5-2500K and i5-4670K comps.
