Upgrade Camera for Landscape Photos

Hey everyone, I'm currently looking to upgrade my camera, I mostly use my current one for landscape photography, using the Canon EOS Rebel T6. Have had it for close to two years now and its been my first and only DSLR.

Any recommendations are welcome! Budget would be maybe $800-1000?

What about the camera do you think is holding you back?

The best way to get life out of a DSLR is to upgrade the lens, especially if you're using the stock 18-55mm lens.
