I currently own an MSI laptop GE70 2OE-002US and Im thinking of upgrading its storage with an SSD and specifically with the Samsung 840 Pro Evo 1TB mSata.

My question is does my laptop has an available mSata slot for the SSD or I have to remove the current HDD? I searched for my model and I couldnt find any information about this nor on the box and also I couldnt just open my laptop and see that since I dont own the tools for that atm.

Hi there Blasphemy_,

You could check this one: http://www.msi.com/product/nb/ge70-2oe.html#hero-overview
It says: 'Two mSATA SSDs and one HDD can be installed in the same laptop without the need to expand the size of the laptop, increasing read, write, and saving speeds.' Though, below it says that 'Only in two mSATA SSD RAID 0 (256GB) units'.
It is a little strange. I would recommend you to contact the msi support and ask them just to be sure.

Hope this helped,
