Upgrading to Blu Ray - How to choose?

So my laptop is an HP DV6 6119WM (kind of old, I know).

Anyway, I am looking to upgrade the internal CD drive in it to a Blu Ray drive. How do I know which ones will be compatible. I do not have my user's manual anymore and browsed what info I could find on HP's website, but couldn't find any pertinent info on which drive would be compatible. Any suggestions?

Only thing you need to look at is how the old drive is connected and make sure the new one is connected in the same manner. After that as long as the BR drive is compatible with whatever windows you are using you're good.

And you NEED software WITH the drive....as NONE of the free stuff works....
