I am about to buy 8 in 1 docking station with HDMI output port:

It connects via USB-C.
Will USB-C/HDMI interface work with notebook ASUS
UX360C?
It says in ASUS manual, that USB-C is only for data transfer (not for charging) and I am not sure it also includes video transfer.

Looking at the specs for that laptop, it 'should' work. However since the component you are using lists the devices it works with, and yours is not listed, I would really suggest contacting the manufacturer of the device to confirm that it will work with your laptop. Better to do that, and wait a bit to know for sure than to spend the money and find out it won't work.

Going by the listed info above, your laptop should have a USB-C Gen 1, which should work, but again, since what you are getting lists the devices it states it works with, and yours isn't listed, I would contact them to be sure.
