hi guys
I`ve a Samsung LA40D550K7R lcd tv . I also have a Panasonic SC DK10 home theater. I was wondering if there`s anyway I could use the speakers of the home theater with the lcd?? The speakers themselves do not have a 3.5mm jack;they have, umm ,kinda like bare wires that go into small clips at the back of the central unit.
Thanks

agreed...

since you are using your tv's tuner you will need to either

A) hope your television has optical output or other output capable of 5.1 sound. some televisions have one 3.5mm jack for headphones which will not work for surround sound.

B) use a set top box and send video to the tv and audio to the receiver.
What is the video source to the LCD TV? The Panasonic SC DK10 does have an auxiliary input, so it would be just a matter of breaking off the audio from the video and redirecting it to the Panasonic.

I mean what is the source of the video to your TV, a cable/satellite set top box or a feed from an antenna, or some other source?

Sorry, but I think you're going to need either a set top box or you might want to try an Optical S/PDIF to analog L/R converter of some sort, using your TV's optical output.
