Using my 32gb SD card

I just put a new 32gb SD card on my LG tribute because my internal memory is full.So how do I make my phone use my new SD card.I've tried everything and nothing seems to work!..do you or anybody have an answer?...Please help!

Android KitKat makes it difficult but it can be done. It requires rooting the device and that can come with downsides. It can break contract terms with your Service Provider and if you still had a Warranty, invalidate it. Some service providers make it really difficult even if the device is rooted.
