Solved! Using the wrong charger

I have a Samsung series 9 laptop from 2013 which I have lost the charger for. The input is 19v, 2.1A (40W). I also have a Dell XPS charger with the output: 19.5V, max. 2.31v (45W)

Would it damage my laptop if I use this one until my new charger arrives?

Do not use the other charger. Even the smallest of difference in specs can cause damage.
