Using Word

Is there a book or a web site that tells me how to use Microsoft Word? I am having difficulty - i.e.: changing the line spacing. When I change the line spacing from 1.5 to 1, it changes for one line and then defaults back to 1.5 lines. Thank you

Most decent sized bookshops carry a range of slightly overpriced guides to using Word or MS Office etc including, of course, Amazon.
