Very loud laptop fan

Hi. i own a company laptop ( Lenovo Yoga 11e). The fan runs very, very, very, VERY loud the past few weeks, when I decided to upgrade the RAM to 8GB(My boss don't want me to do this). My system barely reach 40% CPU usage and the fans are running at 100%.

Any help will be appreciated. (to keep my job)...

Have you tried cleaning out the laptop of debris, dust, etc.? That can make a fan run a lot more. Also, what kind of temps is the device reaching? Try monitoring the temps. If they are high then that would also explain the fan running more.

Now, if none of the above is the problem/or resolves the problem, you may well need a new fan. It happens.

I tried cleaning the fan and my PC temp is about 30-45 degrees Celcius.

Oh yeah. That is really low. So not overheating. Then you may well need to replace the fan. Happened to me last year. All of a sudden it was as loud as a vacuum.

did that fix your problem? im dealing with the same issue and im trying to fix it.
