Hi guys, I'm looking for any suggestions on good video editing freeware for 32-bit Vista. I'll also take Ubuntu suggestions but I'd rather stick with Windows if I can.

All input is appreciated - thanks in advance.

Thanks. Yeah, Movie Maker is alright but I was hoping for a slight upgrade.

I've been reading some things about Jahshaka and Zwei-Stein and I'm looking for opinions on those, too (or obviously anything similar).

Serif have released a free version of their powerful movie editor, MoviePlus.

MoviePlus Starter Edition has similar functionality to Movie Maker but with support for proxy file generation and control of background tasks its performance is superior.
