video (Flash) is lagging in firefox on asus g750JH gaming laptop

So I have a asus G750JH it´s a gaming laptop and it laggs at playing video in firefox
I have a feeling it´s a plugin problem because the gpu is at 35% load when playing video and the audio is fine too, the lag gets extra bad when I browse the web on the second monitor
-the second monitor is not the cause btw it´s the same when it´s not connected

I don´t have this problem on my PC but I don´t have any diferent plugins on it either
(yes the PC has way more power but it´s just video!!)

any Ideas that may help are greatly appreciated

Have you tried a different browser? Downloaded the latest version of flash? Graphics drivers up to date? PC is not in power save mode?

I'll try IE but otherwhise all drivers are good and the laptop is plugged in so its got all the power
Also if I only have the tab with the video open it's fine and smooth, it's as soon as I start surfing in another tab it starts to lag.
-thing is neither cpu nor gpu are at any great load and there's enough ram too

I was having a similar problem with my new laptop until I switched to Waterfox. It's basically a 64bit version of Firefox. Add-ons are compatible, and it can pick up your Firefox profile so all your bookmarks will be there.
