Vintage speakers (1980) with iMac 5K (2014)

Hi,

I recently got my hands on some vintage Braun Dual CL710 speakers (1980) and I was wondering whether there was any possible way to connect these speakers to my iMac 5K (2014). I also got the matching amplifier, if that would make things easier.

I don't have the slightest idea how to make this possible, so any nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated

EDIT:Actually, the speakers are from Dual, and the amplifier is from Braun

Roughly speaking, you can use the output of the iMac as if it were line-in to the amplifier. The amplifier drives the speakers.

I'll bet a quarter that you'll need an adapter of some kind: The iMac will have a 3.5mm stereo plug, same as all the earbuds you see. The amplifier almost certainly will not have a 3.5mm input. If it has dual RCA inputs the adapter is common. Things will get interesting if it requires balanced inputs. Can you post the make and model of amp and, ideally, both a link to the manual and a photo of the input connections?
