Vizio tv without tuner how can I make my cable work without a cable box

I have a Vizio smart tv which does not have the tuner on the back. My cable comes into my house with just a coaxial cable I do not have a cable box this cable just screwed into the tuner in the back of my old tv. Is there something I can buy so the cable will work on my new tv

TV with a coaxial connector takes 2 kind of signal, ATSC (antenna) or QAM (cable service provider). So buy a tuner with the capability designed and a hookup to the interface that's available for your TV.

What kind of tuner would work?

Repeating: ATSC for over the air, and QAM for cable service provided un-encrypted, if your cable provider STILL sends you QAM.
