WOW, important words there are 'admitted' and 'at least', it is quite obviously going to be a lot more...

Of course the real difference between these labels and someone who torrents music, is that they were making money from it, taking a genuine physical music sale, and literally stealing from the artists (not theoretically).

LOL this is great, lets hope that they used there tracks in a couple of movies and I hope they get them for every track every copy of every movie released in theaters every DVD sale in store and every CD sold. I know there's more then 30000 theaters in the US not to mention world wide... so if they placed even one song in one movie and consider every theater at least one copy of the song then we can just go on from there. here's hoping they get a dose of there own medicine in a BIG way 😀... o ya WHY DO THEY CHARGE 20 BUCKS A CD... they should slide that in to somehow 😀

$20 bucks is steap. I think the last CD I bought worth its value (was $15 too) was 21st Century Breakdwon by Green Day. It was 18 tracks and 69 minutes long. Haven't seena CD like that for a while. Most are 10 tracks and maybe 30 minutes long.

And the CD was great too.

This is all good and fun to gawk and high-five each other and say "take that you dirty corporations"...but lets step back into the real world for a minute.

Who essentially owns the world's governments? The massive conglomerates that cover the globe do. Who do you think has the money and the power to manipulate the laws of different countries? The people?

Let's speak honestly. In the end these corporations will be found guilty but on lesser charges than what we would like and what they deserve. They will most likely pay a paltry sum like $50-100 million which is petty cash for these corporations. Lawyers get half and the people suing divide the rest, get taxed and then walk away with a few million for their time.

It's a nice dream to believe that a mighty thor like hammer will come down from the heavens and smash these corporations and teach them a lesson by using precedent that they created against them....but we all know it's not going to happen.
