So I'm the IT Specialist at my work, and one thing we've been trying to get working for the past couple months is to block all websites except for only the few websites the employee's need to be using in Chrome. I don't want to use a network-based solution such as OpenDNS due to our network here being already complex enough, and I've only been here a couple of months and would like to not screw up anything.
My question is, is there any client-based solution for limiting websites that browsers can access (specifically Chrome)? There are only about 3 or 4 websites that they should be allowed on to. All the employee's computers run Windows 7 and a few run XP.
Also, I'd like to not deal with Chrome extensions if possible.
Thanks!
